Days 3-7
Kanchanaburi - Community Project for Children in Sangkhalaburi There are a few places that run the community activities to help the ethnic women and children in Sangkhala Buri area, next to Myanmar border. The program takes you to the most outstanding project at Ban Thorfun Punrak, the House to Share Dream and Love runs by a Thai NGO couple. It is a home to a number of children from various places of the country that facing different kinds of problems. Learn how to dye clothes with natural colours with local Karen women working in the project. As a simple way to support the children project, a variety of naturally colour-dyed clothes, including ready-made ones, are available at reasonable prices. Live with the children and overnight at the welcome-house of this small community.
Days 8-13
Chumporn – Sea Garbage Collection Leaving the big city behind by taking a train ride to Chumporn. Stay at Chumporn Cabana Resort & Diving Center which is famous for its environmentally-friendly-tourists concepts. Join the group of Thai divers who times to times voluntarily run diving trips collecting sea garbage in the Gulf of Thailand water. The destination may be varied, depends on season. Sometimes it can be at the Andaman Sea, Ranong province.
Day 14
Bangkok Return to Bangkok for your flight home.
