Take an excursion by boat on the canals of Bangkok’s surprisingly rural western suburbs. Enjoy the natural scenery and observe the daily lives of the people who live along the canals. Stop en route for an opportunity to talk to some of the students attending the temple school or take leisurely stroll through vegetable and herb gardens. Carry on by boat to an orchid farm and the boat-house where the Royal Barges are kept and maintained. Return to the pier. After for lunch be enthralled by the beauty of three monasteries spectacular yet delicate Thai architectural works of art: the Marble Temple, Temple of the Reclining Buddha and the Golden Buddha Temple. For repeaters, a request can be made for alternative visits such as Wat Ratchanatdaram for the only one existing Metal Palace in the world, amulet market where Thais buy and exchange the Buddha images, the Giant Swing and Wat Suthat for the outstanding Ordination Hall and beautifully crafted wooden doors, etc. Overnight.
